The Green Beautiful
This is a very awakening 1996 film starring famous French actor Vincent Lindon. It was prohibited in the European Union because in a very beauitful way it questions the systems which builds societies and destroys communities. Among other things it questions the value of money vs the value of humanity. It is subtitled. (LETS is likely to be the first step toward the world embracing a life as suggested in this amazing movie.)
The Economics of Happiness
The film shows how globalization breeds cultural self-rejection,
competition and divisiveness; how it structurally promotes the growth of
slums and urban sprawl; how it is decimating democracy. The second half of The Economics of Happiness provides not only
inspiration, but practical solutions. Arguing that economic
localization is a strategic solution multiplier that can solve our most
serious problems, the film spells out the policy changes needed to
enable local businesses to survive and prosper.
